By the time Dan Herrick graduated from Reed College in Portland, Oregon, he had covered capturing war criminals in Sarajevo, the Chiapas Uprising in Mexico, and traveled to and photographed in about 30 countries. After working for 21 years in New York City as a photographer, he currently resides in Berlin, Germany. He strives to capture the beauty in the world (and the studio) even within the chaos.

He speaks German and Spanish. He is available for editorial and commercial assignments worldwide. Past clients include The New York Post, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, and Lonely Planet Guidebooks, for which collections of stock imagery were created for exclusive in-house use. His photographs appear regularly in books, magazines, and newspapers everywhere.
